WILU 2010: 2nd Call for Proposals

The WILU 2010 Organizing Committee invites the submission of proposals for presentation at the 39th annual WILU (Workshop on Instruction in Library Use). This year's conference will be hosted by McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, from May 12-14, 2010 with the theme "Design Play Learn".

All great libraries depend on their support staff, working both behind the scenes and at the forefront to help libraries grow and serve their users. In our changing environment we need to ensure that we celebrate the skill of our support staff. Support staff are critical to any library’s success.

Dewey Divas at Wesmount

On Tuesday, November 3rd, the Dewey Divas are coming to town to share their picks.  Five of the Divas will be presenting a mix of adult, YA and kids suggestions.

They will be appearing at the Westmount Library from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
