A recent post on the blog of the "bibliothécaire errant" alerted us to the fact that BPIM is developing a wiki, Wiki BPM . The main objective is for professional staff to share ideas.

On the news page of the BANQ site is a notice indicating the temporary closure of the maps and plans section of the Centre d'archives de Québec in Québec City, from the 24th to the 27th March inclusively. More information (in French) here.

The Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto has just released the second volume of the Faculty of Information Quarterly: Vol 1, No 2 (2009): The First Student Issue!

The aim of the journal is to promote conversation within the iSchool movement and its affiliates. This issue is the first to be composed entirely of original work by iSchool students and members of the broader Information community.

Public library in Rosemere announces mobile library outreach program

Rosemere's library recently announced a first foray into mobile library services, starting with signing up a dozen residents of the CHSLD Hubert-Maisonneuve. Library director Marc Bineault added that he would like to see hundreds of people using this new service within several months.
