Schedule & Guests Announced for Greenwood's Storyfest

The official lineup and schedule for Greenwood's Storyfest has been released.  This literary festival will take place in Hudson this October 6th to November 3rd.  You may download a copy of the official poster to see some of the authors who will be coming to town (they include Jane Urquhart, Jan Wong, Donna Morrissey and Maria Loggia).

Christine Delezenne Receives Elizabeth Mrazik-Cleaver Award

IBBY CANADA cordially invites you to attend the awards ceremony for the Elizabeth Mrazik-Cleaver award, an award to be given annually in recognition of outstanding artistic talent in a Canadian picture book.

Dewey Divas Return to Westmount

On Tuesday, November 3rd, the Dewey Divas are coming to town to share their picks.  Five of the Divas will be presenting a mix of adult, YA and kids suggestions.

They will be appearing at the Westmount Library from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Admission is $5

Using a new online consultation process, we can speak to each other interactively through our computers, judge the values of the ideas we share and come to some conclusions.

Concordia Libraries' Poster Forum

Concordia University Libraries will be holding our 7th annual "Poster Forum" session on Friday, May 1st.

The deadline for submitting a proposal to be a presenter is Monday, March 16.

The purpose of the Poster Forum is to provide Librarians with an opportunity to promote interest in different kinds of research, to seek suggestions for enhancing their research interests, to possibly find new partners for projects, to test the effectiveness of their undertakings and generally to abet research activity in the academic library community.
