Brian McMillan

Brian McMillan is a music liaison librarian at the Marvin Duchow Music Library of McGill University, where he has worked since 2004. His primary responsibilities are information literacy and audio video collection development.

He is an active member of the Canadian Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (CAML), the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML), and the Music Library Association (MLA). He is a founding member and current Chair of the Quebec Chapter of CAML (find out more at http://www.sqacbm.org). Brian also continues to perform actively with such organizations as La Chapelle de Québec, SMAM, Viva Voce, Tafelmusik Chamber Choir, and les Choeurs de l’OSM. He holds a Masters of Information Studies from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Music from McGill University.
