The aim of this book is to inspire the imagination of children on new uses for old objects. A poem

introduces an idea on how to recycle and give new life to items, and an accompanying photograph shows

the end result. However, most of these old objects are out of the reach of kids: where can they get an

ambulance to become a playground, or an old car to become a bed? A boat to become a bench? There

are just two or three projects that are accessible for kids, and one suggests the use of rusted cans. Not a

good idea! There are no instructions on how to make the projects which can frustrate many kids. The

illustrations are funny and attractive, but this is not a redeemer for this book.

Not recommended.
